ART THAT IS TRULY HEART

Salome Tam
I’m an artist and educator with a background in both the arts and sciences. I’m fond of correspondence, cartography, typography and botany.
Having lived in various countries around the world, I’m fascinated with narratives of self/place along with the boundaries of relationships between the mathematical/abstract of the natural world. I enjoy creating with and in nature and hope that in doing so, more people will notice, value and care for what surrounds us - our neighbourhoods, our environment, our home. My practice includes printing, book arts, painting, nature art, drawing and ceramics.

Phibbie
I was born and raised in Hong Kong but then went to pursue my Bachelor Degree of Arts at one of the City University of New York.
With a passionate heart to work with children, I’ve over 10 years of experience of teaching children from age 3 to 5 in language and arts and I’ve been working at International School (Kindergarten) since 2014.
I especially enjoy the time creating art works with different media with the children, from oil pastel, water color, acrylic paint, light clay and even fruit stamping. I hope the time I had with the children not only about creating an art piece but also to encourage critical thinking and stimulate their creativity.
